Equipment Rentals

Bookings must be made at least 7 days in advance. A refundable deposit is required at time of booking. Bookings are done on a first-come-first-serve basis.

**A rental is not considered booked until a rental contract is signed and the deposit is paid.**

Equipment Rental Policy
The equipment will be available to the renter during the times stated on the contract, therefore, the renter should include sufficient time for travel and clean up of the equipment prior to return. The renter is responsible for any and all damage to equipment and during rental period. If any equipment is deemed to be damaged, the renter will forfeit the deposit and may be subject to addition replacement fees.

Equipment is to be returned to an authorized UBC REC staff member. If any equipment is left unattended or not returned to an authorized staff member, the renter will forfeit the deposit.

Locker Rentals

Lockers are available for rent by the day, semester, school year, or full year.

Day lockers are for same day rental only and must be cleared out by closing time on the day of the rental. Day locker keys must be returned to the SRC front desk by closing time on the day of the rental or a $5 fee will be charged to retrieve locker contents.

Long term lockers: A $15 deposit is charged on all long term locker rentals. This deposit is returned to the renter in full provided that all terms of the rental agreement are met. Locker must be vacated and the lock returned to the SRC Operations Desk by closing time on the day the locker contract expires. If the locker is not vacated, the $15 deposit will be forfeited by the renter and there will be a $5 fee charged to retrieve locker contents. Locker contents will be kept for a four month period or until the end of the subsequent semester, whichever is shorter.

The SRC recommends that you do not store valuables in your locker as there have been incidents of theft. UBC REC and the SRC are not responsible for any lost or stolen items.
